The song emanates from a heart yearning for a deeper connection with God.

Abbey, discussing the inspiration behind the song, explained, “God knew everything about us before we were even born and predestined us from the beginning to reflect the image of his Son.

This indicates that the Son is the eldest among a large family of brothers and sisters who will all emulate him. Knowing our destiny in advance, he called us to himself and imparted his perfect righteousness to all he summoned.

And those who hold his perfect righteousness, he co-glorified with his Son!”
